We loaded up the bikes and we headed to the kid-friendliest bike trail that we could find.

Things were off to a great start.

The sun was shining, the kids were laughing, and there was a cool breeze in the air.

Then the smiles turned into tears when “little miss I wanna keep up with the big dogs” pedaled her two wheelin’ self down a gravel hill. Not pretty.

Am I a bad mom to document a moment like this with pictures? I think not.

I knew she was okay and she was in good hands with Big Daddy and his med kit, aka water bottle and sweat band.
But these picture are still disturbing. Doncha’ think?
Commercial Break: Wear helmets!
She was a little scared but she managed to get back on her bike and ride the rest of the trail.

We found some ramps that Carter tried out. We all got eaten alive by misquitoes watching him, but it was worth it.

Here they are, The Fantastic Four!

Minus the injury, it was a beautiful day.
